Driver Requirements

All of our company drivers are bonded, and wear professional employee uniforms with a photo identification badge. All drivers must meet Federal and State rules and regulations including NYSDOT, USDOT, TSA, and FAA requirements, and are governed by the work rules of the Federal Highway Administration.

All drivers must possess and maintain certification to transport hazardous materials (“Hazmat”) and to operate forklift machines. Pre-employment, random and other drug testing is a permanent policy of the company.

We employ CDL-A and CDL-B drivers. A limited number of non-CDL drivers are also employed, as may be necessary to the business.

1. Drivers must have a satisfactory driving record for the 3 years prior to employment.

2. Drivers must possess at least 1 year experience operating equipment similar to the equipment they will be using.

3. Drivers must have a valid NYS commercial driver license with the appropriate endorsements.

4. Drivers must possess a valid medical examiner’s certificate issued by a bonafide medical practitioner who is knowledgeable about DOT medical qualification requirements and listed in the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

5. Drivers must agree and will be subject to a criminal background check, as required under federal law.
